The Tumpek Landep Ceremony is held twice a year in Bali on an auspicious date to bless tools, machines and metal objects. This 5-minute video documents this event at the Mandala Eco Homes factory in Bali, Indonesia. It covers the highlights of the ceremony, blessing of metal objects, prayers at the factory temple, the feast and the celebration at the end. This ceremony was originally created to bless the Balinese Kris or ceremonial sward, but in modern times has been expanded to bless all objects of metal. Enjoy.
